Mrs Ho-Toh Ling Ling gave us the EXact Questions which were coming out ( or rather Eliminated all the questions that wouldnt comeout

Rephrased(Ho-Toh Ling Ling)
2 SEQ questions will come from the Sec 3 sillybus.... What came out in mid year will not come out again (i.e. No industriaisation or Internal Conflict) Internal Conflict is coming out as SBQ, Study dimplomacy and deterrence and International conflict as 1 theme.....

In other words... Chapter 5 and 6 would come out as 1 question , the the other qeustion would come out as Merger and seperation

Weeeee i had fun doing the SEQ on Merger(i mugged that just before the exam , and the day before)

high chance of FULL MARKS or Nearly Full marks.. =)

BUT ....

the SBQ was !@!@#$%^!$%ZOMGWTFBBQ*add more swearwords* HARD

.... oh well ... i managed to answer all the questions... which should be ok enough

Thanksgiving

this is one of the few exams for a LONG time that I really PRAYED to God to Guide me

even as to go as far to approach my IB frens to pray for me(there is a shocking Lack of God-fearing Christians that I can approach in Express stream)


thank God that He kept me calm thruout most of the exam , and really gave me a sense of peace

I took the second( supposedly harder) paper as i was away for haven during the test week

I didnt even study for it at all

a reflection after reading an web article..

In todays mordern christianity context, ask any teen christian about worship
you'll probally get responses like
1.Hillsongs
2.planetshakers
3.Music
etc...

so much for that

worship is related to music in a special way... God created music to praise him...

Psalm 150

1 Praise the LORD.

the issue on Christian ROCK Music

as always ... youths like Rock music

I dont like Most heavy rock, Rap,or tuneless music. =P(i like hillsongs tho.. )(planetshakers ometimes is a bit too noisy but some songs sound good =P)

someppl say rock music is unacceptable.. as worship....

but God accepts all forms of Music that glorifies Him

Submission & the Fear of the Lord

Went for a Rew followup to pray for the Sec1s today and ... even tho the message for for the sec1s , it sort of spoke to me also

Later in Bible Study Mr Ng played us an audio Sermon about the Fear of the LORD

the sermon was very heavy weight...(still digesting it now)

it gave examples of Obeying & Disobeying God and about obeying UNCONDITIONALLY(even when it didn't make sense)

Abraham went ahead to sacrificed Isaac on the Altar when God told him to do so(Gen 22:1-19) even though God said previously:
I will establish my covenant with him(Isaac) as an everlasting covenant for his descendants after him.(Gen 17:19b)

Didn't make sense right?
God later stopped Abraham and commended him

Abraham had the Fear of the LORD

A case of Disobedience(Numbers 20:1-12)

God told Moses to speak to the Rock to get water out of it

Out of fustration of the Israelites(who kept complaining) Moses did not follow exactly

He struck the Rock...

Water still came out either way...

but.. this was Gods verdict
But the LORD said to Moses and Aaron, "Because you did not trust in me enough to honor me as holy in the sight of the Israelites, you will not bring this community into the land I give them."(Numbers 20:12)

well Moses did not Do the BIG sins like fornication, drug abuse , murder..... he simply Disobeyed God... result...no promised land for him.

Reflections

On Tuesday we had the NDP school celebs cum UYO Awards presentation
Got my Gold Award yay
anyway something funny was the the Ranks were all screwed up
1. Most of us were named as sgt on the booklet( and named that way)
2. I was read out as SSG(actual rank) even tho my name on the list was sgt =)
3. Sebastian Yap was read out/written as Sgt(???) even tho he was Lcp


we Came in 1/2 hour late because of the Colors Uncasing Ceremony....

woke uP late and Started playing Comp

i watched the parade segment of the parade trying to spot mistakes in the drill(lol)
anyway I saw the Commander sword swayed and slip a little once when he was saluting

didnt bother to look at the show segment(all very cliche)

My Anchor Refuge and Haven

Haven was finally over and it was a Great success. Looks like this would be the last performance as an alto for the choir ... .. its been fun being an alto ASL ( tho ever since the girls came in Theodora been doing almost everything).

Jon Si been using more and more vulgarities these few days.. and further more, not behaving in a manner worthy of Christ..(tho i am NOT Perfect either). He sort of lost his temper with Leon Heng and Joel during the performance ...( he made up with Joel but Not Leon... ) anyway I felt quite sad esp. when he refused to accept Leons apology later... it sorts of pains me to see him worsen to that state...( further more I cant even talk to him properly nowadays and he also influencing Joel ...) The Only thing i can do now is to pray for him......

Its back to studying and Homework now I guess since Haven is over... sianz...

New Blog

Decided to Give my blog a new do over , considering i havnt posted for nearly 2 months

Anyway a whole bunch of my stuff got stolen 2 weeks ago on saterday so my 3g Phone(which i bought the day b4) iPod all gone... kind of sad...

The next week(last sat) we had hike... we kinda got lost a few times , and to "make up" for it, we took a ridculus shortcut through AYE Normanton park bypassing 2+bashings ( under my advice)... The Hike definately more slack than what my hike in Sec 1 was like.. at the end of the Hike the sec1 s said they enjoyed themselves ...(compared to me dying of tireness in sec 1)

he HIke route started from the Telok blangah region(Mount FAber) as a result during the hike we met some ppl from my church( GMC)

we sung all manners of riddculus cheers from Grace Kwee Hymns to Barney Songs, which was probally the reason why the sec 1s enjoyed them self

Haven this friday ..finally it will be Over.. but i daresay I'll miss the Choir ppl esp. Rodney Han An , Shaun , Jon Si , Martin, Mervyn , Zi chuan, Reno & Leon... Jon Si seems to be quite Pissed with me this few days... which is kinda sad , since I normally get along pretty well with him


I got A Gold Award For BB , and Mark Lui eems quite pissed about that...(he got silver) ... Anyway i got kinda annooyed with him today and taunted him about that... and he was was super MAD... on reflection I should have at least remember that this award is not my doing , it is because of God grace that I could get it ( I evaded at least 6 demerits this year). Irfan was supposed to get Gold also but because of an incident when he played a prank on a classmate and was caned for "Stealing", it was withdrawn from him.

I'm Not going to be sucidal as to say how I feel about the school disipline system now(the teachers monitor our Blogs), but I will state facts(nothing wrong with that):

1. Yugaraj and another person got Caned for eating in an MRT(the SMRT ppl Complained)
They were Sec 1
They had to make an apology to the school
